11.19

स च दैशिको गुरुः आचार्यो दीक्षकः चुम्बकः स चायं पूर्णज्ञान एव सर्वोत्तमः तेन विना दीक्षाद्यसम्पत्तेः

Transliteration (IAST)

sa ca daiśiko guruḥ ācāryo dīkṣakaḥ cumbakaḥ sa cāyaṃ pūrṇajñāna eva sarvottamaḥ tena vinā dīkṣādyasampatteḥ

— the spiritual guide (deśika) ; — the guru ; — the teacher (ācārya) ; — the initiator ; — the cumbaka (the "magnet," the attractor) ; — he of full knowledge ; — the best of all ; — because initiation and the rest cannot be accomplished

And he is the spiritual guide, the guru, the teacher, the initiator, the cumbaka; and this one, being of full knowledge, is the best of all, since without him initiation and the rest cannot be accomplished.
