5.77

व्यापकत्वाच्छिवत्वस्य सर्वज्ञत्वाद्भवेदथ । तस्मादेतच्च संज्ञेयं सर्वः स्वात्मानमात्मना ॥७७॥

vyāpakatvācchivatvasya sarvajñatvādbhavedatha | tasmādetacca saṃjñeyaṃ sarvaḥ svātmānamātmanā

— because of (its) all-pervadingness ; — of the Śiva-nature ; — because of (its) omniscience ; — it would be (so) ; — then ; — therefore ; — and this ; — is to be understood ; — everyone (everything) ; — its own self ; — by itself

(All this follows) by reason of the all-pervadingness of the Śiva-nature, and by reason of (its) omniscience; therefore this too is to be understood — that everything (knows) its own self by its own self.
