The Vision of Śiva4.121

4.121
— of the two ; — unity ; — or non-unity ; — that unity ; — of two (held) separate ; — how? ; — if there be non-unity ; — not ; — 'this is that very one' ; — would (the cognition) be ; — as with a pot and a stick

(Is there) unity of the two (cognitions) or non-unity? If unity — how (can there be unity) of two (that are) separate? And if non-unity, the cognition 'this is that very one' could (no more) arise (than) of a pot and a stick (— only the unity of the abiding self yields recognition).
