अत्रैव शब्दनित्यत्ववादिनो रूढतां गताः ।
अनादिनाथ तेनैव शब्दतत्त्वेन तुल्यता ॥७६॥
atraiva śabdanityatvavādino rūḍhatāṃ gatāḥ |
anādinātha tenaiva śabdatattvena tulyatā
Just here the proponents of the eternality of the Word have become entrenched; (they claim) parity with that very beginningless Word-principle (— but this we now refute).
