रूपप्रसाररसतो गर्हितत्वमयुक्तिमत् । पञ्चप्रकारकृत्योक्तिशिवत्वान्निजकर्मणे ॥१२॥
rūpaprasārarasato garhitatvamayuktimat | pañcaprakārakṛtyoktiśivatvānnijakarmaṇe
— from the relish of the unfolding of his own nature ; — the state of being blameworthy ; — unreasonable, unfounded ; — because his Śiva-nature is declared to consist of the five kinds of cosmic acts ; — for his own activity

— (we answer:) because it springs from the relish of the unfolding of his own nature, ascribing blameworthiness is unfounded; for Śiva-hood is precisely the doing of the fivefold cosmic act, which is his own proper activity.
