न हि स्वात्मैकनिष्ठानाम् अनुसन्धानवर्जिनाम्
सदसत्तापदे ऽप्य् एष सप्तम्यर्थः प्रकल्प्यते ॥१५॥
na hi svātmaikaniṣṭhānām anusandhānavarjinām
sadasattāpade 'py eṣa saptamyarthaḥ prakalpyate
— for not; — of (things) resting each solely in its own self; — which lack (any) synthesizing connection; — in the case of (the locative implying) being and non-being; — even; — this; — the sense of the locative case ('when X is present'); — can be construed, can be conceived
For, in the case of things resting each solely in its own self, lacking any synthesizing connection, this sense of the locative ('when this is present') cannot be construed at all, even with respect to being and non-being.
