असत्यमप्रतिष्ठं ते जगदाहुरनीश्वरम् ।
अपरस्परसम्भूतमकिंचत्कमहेतुकम् ॥
१६-८ ॥
asatyamapratiṣṭhaṃ te jagadāhuranīśvaram |
aparasparasambhūtamakiṃcatkamahetukam ||
16-8 ||
— without truth, without foundation, they ; — declare the world to be without a Lord ; — arisen without mutual cause ; — of no purpose, without cause They declare the world to be without truth, without foundation, without a Lord, arisen without mutual cause — of no purpose and without cause.
