विधयः किङ्करा यत्र निषेधाः प्रभवोऽपि न ।
स्वेच्छाचारेणेष्टसिद्धिस्तद्विना कोऽन्यमाश्रयेत् ॥१२७॥
vidhayaḥ kiṅkarā yatra niṣedhāḥ prabhavo'pi na |
svecchācāreṇeṣṭasiddhistadvinā ko'nyamāśrayet ||127||

Wherein the injunctions are (his) servants, and even the prohibitions have no force—by acting at one's own will the desired end is attained. Apart from him, whom else would one resort to?
