The Īśvarapratyabhijñākārikā ("Verses on the Recognition of the Lord") by Utpaladeva is the foundational treatise of the Pratyabhijñā (Recognition) school of non-dual Kashmir Śaivism, later expounded by Abhinavagupta in his Vimarśinī and Vivṛtivimarśinī. The source transmits 190 kārikās in four adhikāras (sections) subdivided into āhnikas (chapters): Jñānādhikāra (8 āhnikas), Kriyādhikāra (4), Āgamādhikāra (2), and the single-āhnika Tattvasaṃgrahādhikāra. This file ingests the kārikās only: Utpaladeva's auto-commentary (vṛtti), interleaved in the GRETIL carrier, is excluded and reserved for the sibling slug isvarapratyabhijna-vrtti, as is Abhinavagupta's commentary under isvarapratyabhijna-vimarsini. The jñānādhikāra second-āhnika title is absent as a colophon in the source and is assembled from fragments attested verbatim elsewhere in the file.
