— difference of time ; — the differentiator of cognitions ; — difference of the knowable object ; — like the cognition of one standing on a peak ; — the duration of (a cognition's) persistence ; — the moment ; — in a single arising of the breath ; — only a single cognition ; — conceptual cognition ; — because it is overlaid with a sequential word ; — of even a (single) mora ; — because it too is sequential

It is difference of time alone that differentiates cognitions, not difference of the knowable object, as with the cognition of one standing on a peak. Whatever is the duration of a cognition's persistence, that very (duration) is its moment. And in a single arising of the breath there is necessarily only a single cognition; otherwise a conceptual cognition would not be one thing at all, since it is overlaid with a sequential word, and even a single mora is itself sequential.
