यद् आह तस्यादित उदात्तम् अर्धह्रस्वम् इति

Transliteration (IAST)

yad āha tasyādita udāttam ardhahrasvam iti

— as (the authority) has said ; — of it, from the beginning ; — the raised (high accent) ; — half-short (in duration)

As (the authority) has said: "its raised accent, from the beginning, is half-short."
