श्रीशम्भुनाथभास्करचरणनिपातप्रभापगतसङ्कोचम् । अभिनवगुप्तहृदम्बुजम् एतद् विचिनुत महेशपूजनहेतोः

Transliteration (IAST)

śrīśambhunāthabhāskaracaraṇanipātaprabhāpagatasaṅkocam | abhinavaguptahṛdambujam etad vicinuta maheśapūjanahetoḥ

— the sun that is the venerable Śambhunātha (Abhinavagupta's guru) ; — the falling (descent) of the feet ; — whose contraction has departed through the radiance ; — the lotus of Abhinavagupta's heart ; — this ; — gather, cull, search out (its honey) ; — for the sake of worshipping the Great Lord (Maheśa)

Gather from this lotus of Abhinavagupta's heart — its contraction dispelled by the radiance falling from the feet of the venerable sun, Śambhunātha — for the sake of the worship of the Great Lord.
