घटात्मककटात्मादेः पदार्थपदयोगतः । अभावस्य कपालादिरूपत्वाद्वस्तुता स्थिता ॥९०॥
ghaṭātmakakaṭātmādeḥ padārthapadayogataḥ | abhāvasya kapālādirūpatvādvastutā sthitā
— of (an absence) consisting of pot, of mat, and the like ; — from connection with the word 'entity' ; — of an absence ; — because of (its) having the form of potsherds and the like ; — thing-hood ; — is established

Of (such absences as) the pot-absence, the mat-absence, and the like — from (their) connection with the word 'entity,' and because an absence (of a pot) has the form of potsherds and the like (i.e. a positive residue), its thing-hood is established.
