स एवात्मा सर्वदेहव्यापकत्वेन वर्तते । अन्तःपश्यदवस्थैव चिद्रूपत्वमरूपकम् ॥३॥
sa evātmā sarvadehavyāpakatvena vartate | antaḥpaśyadavasthaiva cidrūpatvamarūpakam
— that very one ; — the Self ; — by pervading all bodies ; — abides ; — the inwardly-seeing condition ; — precisely ; — the having of the nature of consciousness ; — formless

(They say:) That very (Word) is the Self, abiding by pervading all bodies; it is precisely the inwardly-seeing condition — consciousness-natured and formless.
