आदौ तावदिन्द्रियत्वे स्थिता वाक्कर्मसंज्ञिते ॥१२॥
ādau tāvadindriyatve sthitā vākkarmasaṃjñite
(But our refutation:) First of all, at the outset it (Paśyantī, as 'speech') is established merely in the status of a sense-faculty, namely the one called the organ of speech.
