नहि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते ।
तत्स्वयं योगसंसिद्धः कालेनात्मनि विन्दति ॥
४-३८ ॥
nahi jñānena sadṛśaṃ pavitramiha vidyate |
tatsvayaṃ yogasaṃsiddhaḥ kālenātmani vindati ||
4-38 ||
— for there is nothing equal to knowledge ; — so purifying as exists here ; — that, in time, one perfected in yoga ; — finds within the Self For there is nothing in this world so purifying as knowledge; one perfected in yoga finds it in time within the Self.
