तत उत्थाय गुरवे यथाशक्त्यनुसारतः ।
दक्षिणां स्वं फलं वाऽपि दद्यात् साधकसत्तमः ।
गुरोराज्ञावशीभूत्वा विहरेद्देववद् भुवि ॥१३८॥
tata utthāya gurave yathāśaktyanusārataḥ |
dakṣiṇāṃ svaṃ phalaṃ vā'pi dadyāt sādhakasattamaḥ |
gurorājñāvaśībhūtvā vihareddevavad bhuvi ||138||
Then, having risen, the best of aspirants should give the guru a fee according to his ability, or even (the fruit of) his own merit; and, submitting to the guru's command, he should move about on earth like a god.
