3.139

मन्त्रग्रहणमात्रेण तदात्मा तन्मयो भवेत् । ब्रह्मभूतस्य देवेशि किमन्यैर्बहुसाधनैः ॥१३९॥

mantragrahaṇamātreṇa tadātmā tanmayo bhavet | brahmabhūtasya deveśi kimanyairbahusādhanaiḥ ||139||

— by the mere receiving of the mantra ; — whose self is that (Brahman) ; — made of that ; — becomes ; — of one become Brahman ; — O queen of the gods ; — what need of other manifold disciplines

By the mere receiving of the mantra he becomes of that very Self, made of that; for one who has become Brahman, O queen of the gods, what need is there of other manifold disciplines?
