2.42

स्वे स्वेऽधिकारे निरतास्ते शासति तदाज्ञया । त्वं परा प्रकृतिस्तस्य पूज्याऽसि भुवनत्रये ॥४२॥

sve sve'dhikāre niratāste śāsati tadājñayā | tvaṃ parā prakṛtistasya pūjyā'si bhuvanatraye ||42||

— each in his own ; — office, charge ; — engaged, intent ; — they ; — govern, rule ; — by his command ; — you ; — the supreme ; — primordial Nature ; — his ; — to be worshipped ; — you are ; — in the triple world

Engaged each in his own charge, they govern by his command. You are his supreme Prakṛti, to be worshipped throughout the triple world.
