पशुभावदिव्यभावौ स्वयमेव निवारितौ । कलौ न पशुभावोऽस्ति दिव्यभावः कुतो भवेत् ॥५३॥
paśubhāvadivyabhāvau svayameva nivāritau | kalau na paśubhāvo'sti divyabhāvaḥ kuto bhavet ||53||

The paśu and divya dispositions were both set aside by you yourself; in the Kali age the paśu disposition does not hold—how then could the divya disposition arise?
