ननु भावस्य चेत् वेद्यता स्वं वपुः तत् सर्वान् प्रति वेद्यत्वं वेद्यत्वम् अपि वेद्यम् इत्य् अनवस्था तया च जगतो ऽन्धसुप्तत्वं सुप्रकाशम् एव तया च वेद्यत्वावेद्यत्वे विरुद्धधर्मयोग इति दोषः अत्र उच्यते

nanu bhāvasya cet vedyatā svaṃ vapuḥ tat sarvān prati vedyatvaṃ vedyatvam api vedyam ity anavasthā tayā ca jagato 'ndhasuptatvaṃ suprakāśam eva tayā ca vedyatvāvedyatve viruddhadharmayoga iti doṣaḥ atra ucyate
But surely, the objector says, if an entity's knowability is its very essence, then it is knowable with respect to all subjects; and the knowability too would itself be knowable — hence an infinite regress; and thereby the world would be blindly asleep yet perfectly luminous; and thereby knowability and non-knowability would entail a conjunction of contradictory properties — such is the fault.
