— that (knowability) is not its own essence ; — because the own-form was spoken of separately ; — what then? ; — in the perceiver's power and in the perceiver ; — the vessel of repose ; — self-luminous indeed ; — that shines forth ; — but not with reference to anything (else) ; — omniscience ; — (the charge of) infinite regress and conjunction of contradictory properties ; — is dismissed far off (refuted)

That knowability is not the entity's own essence, since the own-form was spoken of separately. What is it then? It is, in the perceiver's power and in the perceiver, that form which is the vessel of repose — and that is surely self-luminous: it shines forth of itself, not with reference to anything else. Thus omniscience holds, and the charge of infinite regress and of the conjunction of contradictory properties is dismissed far off.
