Transliteration (IAST)

yatra sukhaṃ bhogyarūpaprakāśaḥ sattvam duḥkhaṃ prakāśāprakāśāndolanātmakam ata eva kriyārūpaṃ rajaḥ mohaḥ prakāśābhāvarūpas tamaḥ

— pleasure ; — the illumination of the object as enjoyable ; — the quality of sattva (lucidity) ; — consisting of an oscillation between illumination and non-illumination ; — rajas, having the form of activity ; — tamas, having the form of the absence of illumination

Therein pleasure is the illumination of the object as enjoyable, which is sattva; pain consists of an oscillation between illumination and non-illumination, and for that very reason is rajas, having the form of activity; and delusion, having the form of the absence of illumination, is tamas.
