samāno hārdīṣu daśāsu nāḍīṣu sañcaran samaste dehe sāmyena rasādīn vāhayati | tatra digaṣṭake sañcaran taddikpaticeṣṭām iva pramātuḥ anukārayati

— the samāna (the equalizing breath) ; — in the ten channels emanating from the heart ; — circulating ; — evenly, in equilibrium ; — the fluids and the rest (the bodily essences) ; — conveys, makes flow ; — in the octad of directions ; — the activity of the lord of that direction ; — in the knowing subject ; — causes (the subject) to imitate

The samāna, circulating in the ten channels that emanate from the heart, evenly conveys the fluids and the rest throughout the whole body. Circulating there in the octad of directions, it causes the knowing subject to imitate, as it were, the activity of the lord of each direction.
