— shining forth, manifesting ; — the condition of [self-]non-recognition ; — through [its own] absolute freedom ; — having cast off ; — on the verge of unfolding ; — unfolding ; — fully unfolded ; — the act of manifesting ; — the limbs of yoga

This is the ultimate reality: one's essential nature, shining forth, having of itself through its own freedom assumed the condition of [self-]non-recognition, gradually casts that off and manifests in this sequence — on the verge of unfolding, then unfolding, then fully unfolded. And that very manifesting too is nothing but the essential nature of the Supreme Lord. Therefore here the limbs of yoga are not a direct means.
