— having performed some one of these worships ; — such freedom from doubt ; — whose heart is adorned (saturated) ; — preceded by showing him that worship ; — without dependence on preliminary oblations of sesame and ghee ; — by the aforesaid pervasion, through a sequence of contemplative joining ; — should perform the initiation by (a mere) gaze ; — in the indirect initiation and the rest, up to the occasional rites ; — the earlier procedure alone (applies)

Thus, having performed some one of these worships, if the disciple becomes one whose heart is saturated with such freedom from doubt, then for him, having first shown him that worship, without dependence even on the preliminary oblations of sesame and ghee, by the aforesaid pervasion, through a sequence of contemplative joining, one should perform the initiation by a mere gaze. But in the indirect initiation and the rest, up to the occasional rites, the earlier procedure alone applies.
