तत्र यो मृतोद्धारे विधिः उक्तः स सर्व एव शरीरे कर्तव्यः पूर्णाहुत्या शवशरीरदाहः मूढानां तु प्रतीतिरूढये सप्रत्ययाम् अन्त्येष्टिं क्रियाज्ञानयोगबलात् कुर्यात् तत्र शवशरीरे संहारक्रमेण मन्त्रान् न्यस्य जालक्रमेण आकृष्य रोधनवेधनघट्टनादि कुर्यात् प्राणसञ्चारक्रमेण हृदि कण्ठे ललाटे च इत्य् एवं शवशरीरं कम्पते

tatra yo mṛtoddhāre vidhiḥ uktaḥ sa sarva eva śarīre kartavyaḥ pūrṇāhutyā śavaśarīradāhaḥ mūḍhānāṃ tu pratītirūḍhaye sapratyayām antyeṣṭiṃ kriyājñānayogabalāt kuryāt tatra śavaśarīre saṃhārakrameṇa mantrān nyasya jālakrameṇa ākṛṣya rodhanavedhanaghaṭṭanādi kuryāt prāṇasañcārakrameṇa hṛdi kaṇṭhe lalāṭe ca ity evaṃ śavaśarīraṃ kampate
There, the whole procedure stated for the raising-up of the dead is to be performed upon the body; the cremation of the corpse is effected by the full oblation. But for the conviction of the uninstructed to take root, one should perform, by the power of ritual, knowledge, and yoga, the funeral rite accompanied by (visible) confirmation. There, upon the corpse, having installed the mantras in the order of reabsorption, having drawn (the soul) in by the Net-procedure, one should perform confining, piercing, agitating, and the rest, by the procedure of moving the vital breath at the heart, the throat, and the brow; and thus the corpse trembles.
