19.3

ततः परमशिवे योजनिकां कृत्वा तत् दहेत् पूर्णाहुत्या अन्त्येष्ट्या शुद्धानाम् अन्येषाम् अपि वा श्राद्धदीक्षां त्र्यहं तुर्ये दिने मासि मासि संवत्सरे संवत्सरे कुर्यात्

Transliteration (IAST)

tataḥ paramaśive yojanikāṃ kṛtvā tat dahet pūrṇāhutyā antyeṣṭyā śuddhānām anyeṣām api vā śrāddhadīkṣāṃ tryahaṃ turye dine māsi māsi saṃvatsare saṃvatsare kuryāt

— having effected the conjoining (of the soul) with Supreme Śiva ; — he should cremate it (the body) ; — by the full oblation, by the funeral rite ; — for the purified, or even for others ; — the funerary-offering initiation (śrāddha-dīkṣā) ; — for three days ; — on the fourth day ; — month by month ; — year by year ; — he should perform

Then, having effected the conjoining (of the soul) with Supreme Śiva, he should cremate it by the full oblation, by the funeral rite. For the purified, or even for others, he should perform the śrāddha-initiation for three days, on the fourth day, month by month, and year by year.
