२शैवैः सद्भिर्वाच एव पश्यन्त्यादिक्रमे स्थिताः । कल्पितास्तैरशैवत्वमात्मनः प्रतिपादितम् ॥९॥
2śaivaiḥ sadbhirvāca eva paśyantyādikrame sthitāḥ | kalpitāstairaśaivatvamātmanaḥ pratipāditam
— by Śaivas ; — good, worthy ; — of speech alone ; — in the sequence beginning with Paśyantī ; — established ; — posited ; — by them ; — a non-Śaiva character ; — of themselves ; — has been demonstrated

By certain worthy Śaivas, (levels) of speech alone are posited as established in the sequence beginning with Paśyantī; (but) thereby they have (only) shown a non-Śaiva character in themselves.
