क्रोधाद्भवति सम्मोहः सम्मोहात्स्मृतिविभ्रमः । स्मृतिभ्रंशाद्बुद्धिनाशो बुद्धिनाशात् प्रणश्यति ॥ २-६५ ॥
krodhādbhavati sammohaḥ sammohātsmṛtivibhramaḥ | smṛtibhraṃśādbuddhināśo buddhināśāt praṇaśyati || 2-65 ||
— from anger comes delusion ; — from delusion, confusion of memory ; — from loss of memory, destruction of intelligence ; — from the ruin of intelligence, he perishes

From anger comes delusion; from delusion, the confusion of memory; from confusion of memory, the destruction of intelligence; and from the destruction of intelligence, the man perishes.
