कथं भीष्ममहं सङ्ख्ये द्रोणं च मधुसूदन इषुभिः प्रतियोत्स्यामि पूजार्हावरिसूदन ॥ २-४ ॥

kathaṃ bhīṣmamahaṃ saṅkhye droṇaṃ ca madhusūdana iṣubhiḥ pratiyotsyāmi pūjārhāvarisūdana || 2-4 ||

— how shall I in battle, against Bhīṣma ; — and Droṇa ; — O Madhusūdana ; — fight back with arrows ; — the two who are worthy of worship ; — O slayer of foes

How shall I in battle strike back with arrows against Bhīṣma and Droṇa, O Madhusūdana, who are worthy of worship, O slayer of foes?
