पतन्ति पितरो ह्येषां लुप्तपिण्डोदकक्रियाः ।
दोषैरेतैः कुलघ्नानां वर्णसङ्करकारकैः ॥
१-४३ ॥
patanti pitaro hyeṣāṃ luptapiṇḍodakakriyāḥ |
doṣairetaiḥ kulaghnānāṃ varṇasaṅkarakārakaiḥ ||
1-43 ||
For the ancestors of these family-destroyers fall, deprived of their offerings of rice-balls and water, through these evils that bring about the confusion of the social orders.
