3.20

धन्या माता पिता तस्य पवित्रं तत्कुलं शिवे । पितरस्तस्य सन्तुष्टा मोदन्ते त्रिदशैः सह । गायन्ति गायनीं गाथां पुलकाञ्चितविग्रहाः ॥२०॥

dhanyā mātā pitā tasya pavitraṃ tatkulaṃ śive | pitarastasya santuṣṭā modante tridaśaiḥ saha | gāyanti gāyanīṃ gāthāṃ pulakāñcitavigrahāḥ ||20||

— blessed ; — mother ; — father ; — his ; — pure ; — that family ; — O Śivā ; — the ancestors ; — his ; — well-pleased ; — rejoice ; — with the gods ; — together ; — they sing ; — a song ; — a verse ; — their bodies thrilled with rapture

Blessed are his mother and father, pure is that family, O Śivā; his ancestors, well-pleased, rejoice with the gods and, their bodies thrilled with rapture, sing this song:
