1.11

तदा तस्मिन्महाव्योम्नि प्रलीने शशिभास्करे । मग्नवत्तामसी निद्रा बभूव खिलगोचरे ॥११॥

tadā tasmin mahāvyomni pralīne śaśibhāskare | magnavat tāmasī nidrā babhūva khilagocare

— then ; — in that great void ; — when dissolved ; — (when) moon and sun (dissolve) ; — as if submerged ; — a dark sleep ; — arose, became ; — in the empty sphere

Then in that Great Void, when sun and moon are dissolved, a tamasic sleep arises as if one is sunk in obstructed range.
