8.38

एवम् अन्योन्यश्लेषात् अलक्षणीयान्तरत्वं पुंस्कलयोः

Transliteration (IAST)

evam anyonyaśleṣāt alakṣaṇīyāntaratvaṃ puṃskalayoḥ

— because of their mutual coalescence ; — the state in which their mutual difference cannot be discerned ; — of the soul and kalā

Thus, because of their mutual coalescence, the difference between the soul and kalā cannot be discerned.
