मण्डले मन्त्रविशेषसन्निधये यत्र बहुला क्रिया उत्तमम् उपकरणं पुष्पादि स्थानं पीठादि मण्डलं त्रिशूलाब्जादि आकृतिः ध्येयविशेषः मन्त्रः स्वयं दीप्तश् च ध्यानपरस्य योगिनः तदेकभक्तिसमावेशशालिनो ज्ञानिनश् च सम्बन्धः इत्य् एते सन्निधानहेतवो यथोत्तरम् उक्ताः

Transliteration (IAST)

maṇḍale mantraviśeṣasannidhaye yatra bahulā kriyā uttamam upakaraṇaṃ puṣpādi sthānaṃ pīṭhādi maṇḍalaṃ triśūlābjādi ākṛtiḥ dhyeyaviśeṣaḥ mantraḥ svayaṃ dīptaś ca dhyānaparasya yoginaḥ tadekabhaktisamāveśaśālino jñāninaś ca sambandhaḥ ity ete sannidhānahetavo yathottaram uktāḥ

— in the maṇḍala ; — for the presence (sannidhi) of the particular mantra-deity ; — abundant ritual action ; — the (ritual) implement / paraphernalia ; — flowers and the like ; — the place ; — a seat (pīṭha) and the like ; — the diagram ; — trident, lotus and the like ; — the configuration (the visualized form) ; — the particular object of meditation ; — the mantra, self-kindled ; — of the yogin intent on meditation ; — possessing absorption through single-pointed devotion to That ; — of the knower ; — the causes of (the deity's) presence ; — in ascending order (each more potent than the last)

For the presence of the particular mantra-deity in the maṇḍala, these are declared, each more potent than the last, to be the causes of that presence: abundant ritual action; the supreme implement, namely flowers and the like; the place, a seat and so forth; the diagram, a trident, lotus, and the like; the configuration, the particular object of meditation; the self-kindled mantra; the yogin intent on meditation; and the connection of the knower endowed with absorption through single-pointed devotion to That.
