तथात्मादेरदृष्टस्य तच्छब्दैर्योगिता कथम् ॥७२॥
tathātmāderadṛṣṭasya tacchabdairyogitā katham
— likewise ; — of the self and the rest ; — of the unseen (imperceptible) ; — with the words (designating) them ; — connection ; — how (possible)?

Likewise, for the self and the like, which are imperceptible, how could there be any (sense-based) connection with the words (that designate) them?
