पश्यन्त्याथो शिवावस्था क्रियाफलसमाप्तितः । क्रियाया वाथ प्रारम्भे कल्पनीया प्रशान्तता ॥८७॥
paśyantyātho śivāvasthā kriyāphalasamāptitaḥ | kriyāyā vātha prārambhe kalpanīyā praśāntatā
— by 'seeing' ; — and now ; — the Śiva-state ; — upon the completion of the fruit of action ; — of action ; — or ; — then ; — at the commencement ; — is to be posited ; — perfect quiescence

(Objection:) Now, the Śiva-state (of pure quiescence must be posited) by 'seeing' — either upon the completion of the fruit of action, or at the commencement of action: perfect quiescence is (then) to be posited (there).
