वादित्वप्रतिवादित्वे कस्माच्चेत्तस्य तत्स्थिते ॥७६॥
vāditvaprativāditve kasmāccettasya tatsthite
— the roles of proponent and opponent (in debate) ; — why ; — if (you ask) ; — his ; — because of his abiding as that

If (you ask) 'why then the roles of proponent and opponent (in debate)?' — (we answer:) because he abides as that (very pair too).
