योऽविपस्थो ज्ञाहेतुश्च ॥२९॥
yo 'vipastho jñā-hetuś ca
sūtra
— he who ; — is established in protection of (sense-)flock (i.e., master of the senses) ; — (is) the cause of (Self-)knowledge ; — and

He who is established (as protector of the sense-flock) is (also) the cause of (their) knowledge.
