यतो यतो निश्चरति मनश्चञ्चलमस्थिरम् ।
ततस्ततो नियम्यैतदात्मन्येव शमं नयेत् ॥
६-२७ ॥
yato yato niścarati manaścañcalamasthiram |
tatastato niyamyaitadātmanyeva śamaṃ nayet ||
6-27 ||
— from wherever it wanders out ; — the restless, unsteady mind ; — from there restraining it ; — let him bring it to rest in the Self From wherever the restless, unsteady mind wanders out, from there let him restrain it and bring it to rest in the Self alone.
