यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत ।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मांशं सृजाम्यहम् ॥
४-७ ॥
yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānirbhavati bhārata |
abhyutthānamadharmasya tadātmāṃśaṃ sṛjāmyaham ||
4-7 ||
Whenever there is a decline of dharma, O Bhārata, and a rising-up of unrighteousness, then I send forth a portion of myself.
