गन्धं दद्यान्महीतत्त्वं पुष्पमाकाशमेव च । धूपं दद्याद्वायुतत्त्वं दीपं तेजः समर्पयेत् । नैवेद्यं तोयतत्त्वेन प्रदद्यात् परमात्मने ॥५२॥
gandhaṃ dadyānmahītattvaṃ puṣpamākāśameva ca | dhūpaṃ dadyādvāyutattvaṃ dīpaṃ tejaḥ samarpayet | naivedyaṃ toyatattvena pradadyāt paramātmane ||52||
— as fragrance/sandal-paste ; — he should offer the earth-element ; — and the ether-element as the flower ; — and ; — as incense ; — he should offer the air-element ; — as the lamp ; — the fire-element ; — should offer up ; — as the food-offering ; — with the water-element ; — should present ; — to the Supreme Self

As fragrance he should offer the earth-element, as the flower the ether, as incense the air-element, as the lamp the fire-element, and as the food-offering the water-element—he should present (these) to the Supreme Self.
