ततो जप्त्वा महामन्त्रं मनसा साधकोत्तमः ।
समर्प्य ब्रह्मणे पश्चाद्वहिःपूजां समारभेत् ॥५३॥
tato japtvā mahāmantraṃ manasā sādhakottamaḥ |
samarpya brahmaṇe paścādvahiḥpūjāṃ samārabhet ||53||
Then, having recited the great mantra mentally and dedicated (the recitation) to Brahman, the best of aspirants should thereafter begin the external worship.
