1.31

कररुद्धदृगस्त्रेण भ्रूभेदाद्द्वाररोधनात् । दृष्टे बिन्दौ क्रमाल्लीने तन्मध्ये परमा स्थितिः ॥३१॥

kararuddhadṛgastreṇa bhrūbhedād dvārarodhanāt | dṛṣṭe bindau kramāl līne tanmadhye paramā sthitiḥ

anuṣṭubh

— with the weapon of the gaze restrained by the hand ; — by piercing the brow ; — by blocking the doors (of the senses) ; — when the bindu is seen ; — gradually dissolving ; — in its midst ; — is the supreme state

Closing the eyes with the hands as the means, by piercing between the brows and blocking the openings, a dot is seen, and as it gradually dissolves, the supreme state arises in its midst.
