Transliteration (IAST)

kāryakāraṇabhāve 'pi asyā eva vyāpāraḥ tena kalāta eva etac catuṣkaṃ jātam idam eva kiñcid adhunā jānan abhiṣvaktaḥ karomi ity evaṃrūpā saṃvid dehapuryaṣṭakādigatā paśur ity ucyate

— in the causal relation ; — the operation of this very (Necessity) ; — this set of four (vidyā, rāga, kāla, niyati) ; — attached, clinging ; — I do/act ; — residing in the body, the subtle body (puryaṣṭaka), and so on ; — a bound soul (lit. beast)

In the causal relation too the operation belongs to this very (Necessity). Thus from kalā alone this set of four has arisen. And the consciousness of the form "clinging, now knowing just this particular thing, I act," residing in the body, the subtle body, and so on, is called a bound soul (paśu).
