8.31

एवं स्थिते मायातत्त्वात् विश्वप्रसवः

Transliteration (IAST)

evaṃ sthite māyātattvāt viśvaprasavaḥ

— this being so ; — from the Māyā-principle ; — the bringing-forth of the universe

This being so, the bringing-forth of the universe proceeds from the Māyā-principle.
