6.24

अत्र च दक्षाद्याः पितामहान्ता रुद्राः शक्तयश् च द्वादशाधिपतय इति वर्षोदयः

Transliteration (IAST)

atra ca dakṣādyāḥ pitāmahāntā rudrāḥ śaktayaś ca dvādaśādhipataya iti varṣodayaḥ

— beginning with Dakṣa ; — ending with Pitāmaha (Brahmā) ; — the Rudras ; — the powers (goddesses) ; — the twelve presiding lords ; — the arising of the year

And here the Rudras beginning with Dakṣa and ending with Pitāmaha, together with their powers, are the twelve presiding lords. Such is the arising of the year.
