The Essence of the Tantra5.23

5.23

इत्थम् अनात्मनि आत्मभावे लीने स्वात्मनः सर्वमयत्वात् आत्मनि अनात्मभावो विलीयते इति अतो घूर्णिः महाव्याप्त्युदयात्

Transliteration (IAST)

ittham anātmani ātmabhāve līne svātmanaḥ sarvamayatvāt ātmani anātmabhāvo vilīyate iti ato ghūrṇiḥ mahāvyāptyudayāt

— when the sense of self in the non-self has dissolved ; — because one's own Self is all-comprising ; — the sense of non-self dissolves into the Self ; — whirling, vertiginous swirl [fifth state] ; — from the rising of the great pervasion

Thus, when the sense of self in the non-self has dissolved, then — since one's own Self is all-comprising — the sense of non-self dissolves into the Self; and hence [arises] whirling (ghūrṇi), from the rising of the great pervasion.
