मुख्यं नैवेद्यं स्वयम् अश्नीयात् सर्वं वा जले क्षिपेत् जलजा हि प्राणिनः पूर्वदीक्षिताः चरुभोजनद्वारेण इति आगमविदः
Transliteration (IAST)
mukhyaṃ naivedyaṃ svayam aśnīyāt sarvaṃ vā jale kṣipet jalajā hi prāṇinaḥ pūrvadīkṣitāḥ carubhojanadvāreṇa iti āgamavidaḥ
He should himself eat the principal food-offering, or cast it all into water; for water-born creatures become thereby initiated, by means of eating the oblation-gruel — so say the knowers of scripture.
